Supplementary Description
Deep in the Bamboo Culture Park of Yibin, Sichuan, sits Yuru Bridge — a breathtaking large-span arch bridge built almost entirely from natural bamboo. Crafted using traditional mortise-and-tenon joinery without heavy metal fasteners, the bridge leverages bamboo’s natural flexibility and strength to hold the whole load. Every bamboo pole is carefully selected and treated for durability. It blends modern structural engineering with ancient Chinese bamboo craftsmanship, forming a graceful curved silhouette against the lawn and bamboo forest.
