Bamboo Dome & Glass Roof — The Red Label Chicken Bamboo Restaurant, Nanjing Lishui
Red Label Chicken in Lishui, Nanjing, is a rural dining and leisure-agriculture venture. Yueteng Bamboo Culture created its bamboo restaurant space by extending bamboo from building material to the heart of the dining experience: inside, a bamboo dome is paired with woven bamboo pendant lights, wooden tables and floor-to-ceiling windows opening onto the farmland; outside, a curved bamboo roof combines with a steel frame and a glass skylight for a bright, airy look.
The highlight is the “inside-out” bamboo design — from dome to columns and partitions, bamboo runs through the entire space, creating a unified, natural character while meeting the practical needs of lighting, ventilation and hygiene. Bamboo architecture here is not only beautiful but highly functional.
Since completion, the restaurant has become a popular rural dining destination. It also demonstrates Yueteng’s ability to apply bamboo architecture to commercial spaces — from landmark-scale projects down to turning a single restaurant into a natural aesthetic experience.
