100+ Bamboo Buildings — A Bamboo Forest Wellness Retreat in Chibi, Hubei

Nestled in the mountains and waters of Chibi, Hubei, the Fanyin Yoga Retreat is a wellness community of over 100 bamboo buildings living in harmony with nature. The project covers multiple architectural forms — bamboo houses, cabins, and single- and double-storey bamboo lodges — scattered naturally along the hillside. Every building features a raw bamboo structure that blends seamlessly with the green mountains and vegetation around it.

This project showcases Yueteng’s capability in delivering large-scale bamboo building clusters: from graded material selection and anti-insect, anti-mold, anti-corrosion and crack-resistant treatments, to standardized factory prefabrication and on-site installation by master craftsmen — more than 100 buildings were completed efficiently with consistent quality. Notably, the cluster is also integrated with solar photovoltaic panels, combining bamboo architecture with new energy and creating a genuine model of low-carbon wellness living.

Since completion, the retreat has become a tranquil sanctuary where visitors meditate, practice yoga and rest among bamboo lodges connected by woodland paths — truly experiencing the lifestyle of “dwelling among bamboo, in harmony with nature.” The project is frequently referenced by clients as a benchmark for bamboo architecture in cultural tourism and wellness development.
